Terms of service

These terms explain the responsibilities involved in using Send2Print and ordering printed products or fulfilment services. Read them with the product specifications, order confirmation, Shipping & delivery policy and Refund & cancellation policy.

  • Review your files, specifications, quantities and recipient details before ordering.
  • You retain copyright; you must have permission to print the material you submit.
  • Cancellations and remedies depend on the order circumstances and your applicable rights.

1. Our service and these terms

Send2Print sells made-to-order physical products, including printed books, stationery, photo prints, personalised mugs, bottles and rubber stamps. A product purchase includes the finished goods made to the selected specifications, which are delivered to you or your chosen recipient. Optional design work and separate business fulfilment arrangements are described in their own offers. The products, options, prices and services available for a particular order are those shown in its configuration, quote and confirmation.

By placing an order, you confirm that you can enter into the transaction and, when acting for a business or another person, that you have the necessary authority. A separately agreed written business contract may specify additional arrangements for the services it covers. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Your account and authorised access

Provide accurate account and contact information and keep it up to date. Protect your password, verification codes and any API credentials. Give access only to people authorised to manage your orders and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.

You are responsible for the orders and instructions you authorise. We may restrict access or hold an order where necessary to investigate fraud, account-security concerns, unlawful material or payment discrepancies. Contact support if you believe a restriction has been applied in error.

3. Reviewing and placing an order

Before confirming an order, check the product, size, orientation, paper, colour mode, print sides, binding, finish, quantity, files, delivery address and total. For books, also check the edition, cover and manuscript intended for that order.

An order acknowledgement records your request. Fulfilment remains subject to payment verification, usable files, any required review or approval and service availability. If we cannot fulfil a paid order, we will contact you about the issue and the appropriate refund or another option you agree to.

We will not substitute materially different specifications or collect an additional charge without your agreement. A later edit to your saved file, address or product configuration does not automatically amend a confirmed order.

4. Artwork, proofs and printing specifications

Supply files suitable for the selected printing specifications. Check spelling, page order, margins, bleed, image resolution, fonts and the content of each file. A digital preview helps you review layout; it cannot reproduce the exact appearance of ink, paper, trimming or binding.

Screen settings and production materials can cause some colour or finish variation. A variation that is minor and consistent with the agreed specification is different from a printing fault or a product materially different from what was ordered.

File or pricing approval is not proofreading, editorial review or confirmation that you own the rights. If the submitted or approved file contains an error and the product faithfully reproduces it, a corrected reprint may require a new order. This does not excuse an error introduced by Send2Print or a failure to meet the agreed specification.

5. Copyright and permission to print

Ownership of your manuscript, artwork, photographs, designs and other material remains with you or the relevant rights holder. Uploading a file or ordering a print does not transfer copyright to Send2Print.

You confirm that you own the material or have permission to reproduce it and to provide the recipient information needed for the order. You authorise Send2Print and the service providers involved in your order to use the submitted materials for the authorised printing and fulfilment.

We use your submitted materials only for authorised printing and fulfilment, not for advertising, training or resale without your permission. Do not submit material that infringes another person’s rights, is unlawful, or that you are not authorised to distribute. We may request evidence of permission or decline the affected work.

6. Author and Business orders

Send2Print’s printing and fulfilment service does not make us the publisher of your work. It does not include acquiring copyright, an advance, a royalty arrangement or profit sharing. Any separate service must be expressly agreed; none is implied by creating an Author account or uploading a book.

Authors and publishers are responsible for their editorial content, publishing permissions, ISBN or other identifiers where relevant, retail pricing and commitments made to their customers. A print review does not establish copyright ownership or register a publication.

Books and order-specific files must meet the applicable review, specification and pricing requirements before fulfilment. API and CSV submissions are subject to the same checks as dashboard orders. An order held for missing information, file review or insufficient funds is not a confirmation that printing or dispatch has started.

7. Prices, payment and wallet balances

Review the currency, product charges, applicable taxes, packaging, shipping and final amount shown for your order or approved quote. Payments use the methods offered at checkout or through an authorised payment link; availability may vary by account or order.

An account debit or a pending payment screen alone does not confirm successful payment verification. If a result is uncertain, check the existing payment status or contact support with the transaction reference before trying again.

Author and Business wallet top-ups are recorded separately from charges for individual orders. A top-up does not by itself place an order. Order release depends on the required funds and fulfilment checks. Contact support about a disputed debit, duplicate top-up or unused balance so the relevant payment and ledger entries can be reviewed.

8. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Request changes or cancellation as soon as possible. Whether an order can be changed or stopped depends on its actual stage, including printing, finishing and dispatch. A request is not confirmed until the team has checked the order and responded.

Customised goods and print-on-demand items may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return once production has begun. Faulty printing, damage, incorrect or missing goods, material misdescription and non-delivery are handled under the Refund & cancellation policy and applicable law. A blanket exclusion of all refunds does not apply.

9. Delivery and recipient information

Our Shipping & delivery policy explains production versus transit time, serviceability, tracking, address changes and delivery issues. The estimate or schedule for your selected order applies; an example on another page does not establish a guaranteed delivery time for every product.

Provide accurate recipient details and contact us promptly about an error or a missed delivery. If a delivery problem arises, we will review the order and relevant shipment information to determine the appropriate next step.

10. Website use, integrations and third parties

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt other users or submit fraudulent orders. Use integrations only within the access and capabilities provided for your account. Keep a copy of important files and order references.

Payment providers and delivery partners perform their respective services. Their involvement does not remove Send2Print’s responsibilities for the service we have agreed to provide. For purchases from an independent Author storefront, refer to the seller identity, terms and contact details displayed for that purchase.

11. Personal information and communications

Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled. Share only information needed for the order or support request, and ensure that you are authorised to provide another person’s delivery details.

We may contact you about files, payment, review, production, delivery or a support request. Never send passwords, full payment-card details, PINs or one-time passwords to support.

12. Problems, applicable law and updates

Contact us with your order number and a clear description of the problem so we can investigate. If the first response does not resolve it, reply on the same support conversation and request a further review. Keep the order confirmation and relevant correspondence.

These terms are governed by applicable Indian law. They do not exclude statutory warranties, consumer remedies or access to a consumer commission, court or other authority with jurisdiction. Any limitation of responsibility operates only to the extent permitted by law.

The update date identifies this version. Changes apply to future use or orders as appropriate and do not retrospectively reduce rights attached to an existing purchase. The terms and commitments applicable when your order was confirmed remain relevant to its resolution.
